Notes on using Paypal

Click on the appropriate button for the currency you wish to use. This takes you to a new site 'Paypal' which handles the credit card transaction for us. There are several steps involved, all of which are necessary to ensure the security of the credit card transaction.

STEP 1

Amount to Pay is dependant on where you live, see note in step 2.

If you live outside the USA please note the highlighted item.
Click on
Outside the USA,
this brings up a second screen which you can now fill in with your details.

 

 

Note:

If from GB
then pay £3.00

If from Europe
then pay: £4 or €5

If from America/Rest of World
then pay: £6 or $10

Please select the currency button appropriate to your transaction amount.

STEP 2

Fill in your first and last name, then select which type of credit card you wish to use from the drop down list.
(click on the down arrow to the right of the box to get the list of credit cards which are acceptable)
Wait for the response screen to come back.
Fill in the rest of your credit card details as requested. Please note, this is a secure transaction and your details are encrypted before transmission.
Select your
Country and Country of Citizenship
from the drop down lists If you have any doubts about using your credit card online, then return to the main screen and print out the order form, fill it in and send with your remuneration to Richard by post.

STEP 3

If you dont know your country's international code, click on
country code
Select the appropriate code for your country, note the comments, close the window and enter the code, followed by the complete dialling code for yourself, including the regional codes.

STEP 4

Fill in the rest of the form, note; you have to enter the security code shown highlighted.

 

When you have completed the form and transmit it you will then get a check screen with your details on for you to check and then submit to complete the transaction. At this point we will get an email saying you have ordered, or that you have made a payment for files read, which we will then process.

Paypal posts a debit amount to your credit card with a security number, which on receipt of your credit card statement, if you go online to Paypal, log on with your security password, (which you noted when you filled out the form), and enter the security number given you, Paypal will then credit this amount, so the transaction costs you nothing to register. This final step is necessary so that Paypal can get full verification of both your credit card and address details.

The procedure above is similar to most on-line credit card transactions, and once done you can use Paypal easily elsewhere, such as on E-bay, the online auction house.
