Many of you will already know that I've written twice in the last
20 years about Carolyn Hall, the talented daughter of my old copain
Jim.
First, 20 years ago, in Best of Britain (p130), when she had recently
opened her successful Café Pelican in London. Then again,
in 1992, on p479 in French Leave Encore, when I told you about her
ravishing Provençale home, Aux Deux Soeurs, west of St-Rémy-de-Provence.
My most recent visit, in October 2004, confirmed how much her 25-acre
property has blossomed. Four separate buildings provide wonderful
rental possibilities:
The Lodge, The Cottage, The Granary, and The Bastide and Grounds.
